Dr. Allen is a licensed clinical psychologist in Indiana. Dr. Allen is a 2004 graduate of Illinois School of Professional Psychology/Argosy University/Chicago Campus with a doctorate of clinical psychology. He graduated from Purdue University with a master degree in counseling psychology in 1998. He graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor degree in psychology in 1995. Dr. Allen has worked in the field of mental health since 1991. He has experience in community mental health counseling working for Porter Starke Services, Inc, Valparaiso, IN for 13 years. He has experience in inpatient psychiatric services at Kingwood Hospital and Charter Hospital. He has experience in correctional psychology serving as the lead psychologist at Westville Correctional Facility from 2008 to 2012. While working as the lead psychologist at Westville Correctional Facility, Dr. Allen developed a diagnostic, therapy, and advanced therapy practicum consortium with Argosy University and Chicago School of Professional Psychology for doctoral students. He has been in private practice since 2007 and currently is full time private practice with Psych Consults, LLC. He taught psychology at Purdue University North Central from 2010 to 2011. He is a licensed psychologist in Indiana and Michigan. He is dedicated to the profession of clinical psychology.
